The Egerton™ is a casement apron front sink—the classic farmhouse shape with an extra touch of detailing. The Egerton has an inset frame that adds distinction as well as a more traditional feel, making it perfect for country kitchens seeking authenticity. Its longer rectangular shape is roomier, too. As with all Shaws® heavy fireclay sinks, the Egerton is molded, glazed, fired, and signed by one master craftsman, following a tradition of handcraft from 1897. The result is a sink of iconic beauty, resilience, and lifetime performance.
- Formed over a 3 to 4 week period using legendary Devon Ball clay sourced in Lancashire, England
- Heavy duty fireclay sinks are significantly stronger than fine fireclay or vitreous china imitators, making it significantly more durable
- Hand-sculpted and hand-finished
- Each sink is hand-stamped by the artisan who lovingly created it. No two sinks are exactly the same
- The Shaws® Egerton™ Fireclay Sink takes the apron front aesthetic to yet another level, adding a decorative inset framework to the sink's front panel. Consider it the equivalent of crown moulding for the ceiling, but for the kitchen's most hard-working space
- The beautiful, high gloss on a Shaws® Sink comes from a combination of high temperature, long firing and an abundance of glaze
- Scratch-, stain- and bacteria-resistant due to non-porous surface with antibacterial properties
- Due to ±2% dimensions, it is recommended that the cabinet maker wait until your sink is delivered to make the cabinet because no template is available. 33" minimum cabinet size.
- Cleans easily with soap and water
- Extended disposal flange or basket strainer required for installation
